Excellent fishing line for small to medium sized fish, both fresh and salt water.
Perfect for lure fishing but can also be used as a regular main line for bait fishing.
The benefits of braid compared to mono-filament are mainly due to the superior strength of braid. While size 1 braid is the same diameter as size 1 mono-filament, braided line can handle up to 13kg in weight, compared to mono-filament at 6.1kg.
This extra strength means you can use a very thin braid for casting lures, gaining extra distance in your cast, while ensuring the line is strong enough to hook fish you would normally catch on a thicker diameter size 2 mono-filament fishing line.
Recommended for use with our Bent Long Nose Fishing Pliers, which have a braid cutting section built in. Regular scissors may have problems cutting the braid properly, so these speciality fishing pliers are highly recommended. See below for a link to them:
